Live Free Landscaping, LLC (LFL) was officially formed in 2005 by Sunapee resident, Richard Hamm. Richard had developed previous landscape and lawn care experience through his employment with a pool construction company and through his care of multiple large private residences in Northern Virginia in the 1990’s. He moved to Durham, New Hampshire to attend UNH and then moved to the Lake Sunapee Region. He worked as a Systems Coordinator for Johnson and Dix Fuel Company for over 7 years, overseeing the computer systems of the Mountain Market convenience store chain. With the purchase of the chain by Irving Fuels, Richard moved on to start his own business in the same lawn care/landscaping field that he had enjoyed in VA.

Through examples of his work and word-of-mouth alone, he has built Live Free Landscaping, LLC up to the point it is today. At the moment, LFL is run solely by Richard with occasional help from people he can trust and whom show same care, drive, and respect that he shows on every job.

Richard has also been on the Sunapee Fire Department since 2005, recently finishing a 5+ year position as President on the Sunapee Fire Department Association (SFDA).
